In Pasadena, Hispanic and Latino Heritage Month in September and October is a city-wide celebration of the quintessential Southern Californian communities that enrich our community's past, present, and future.
Latino Heritage Festival
In early October, celebrate the rich diversity of Latin American culture at the Annual Latino Heritage Festival. Please note, this year, there will not be a parade. The festival, however, will move forward to provide a meaningful opportunity to celebrate culture and community. At the festival, there will be lively performances, family-friendly activities, an artisan marketplace, and local Latin American food vendors.
Dia De Los Muertos
On October 24, the Villa Parke Community Center will host a vibrant celebration of the cherished centuries-old tradition of Dia de Los Muertos, the Day of the Dead. The event will feature captivating dance performances, creative arts and crafts, delicious food offerings, and the beautifully adorned "ofrendas," all designed to pay tribute to the lives of our departed loved ones.
