St. Patrick’s Day in Pasadena
St. Patrick’s Day in Pasadena goes beyond pub crawls and pints, with plenty of ways to celebrate, including local events and seasonal happenings around the city.
Feeling lucky? This guide highlights top ways to celebrate, whether you’re planning a night out, a cultural outing, or a fun afternoon with friends.
Visit a Pub
You don’t need a themed menu to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. A cold beer, a well-made dish, and a great atmosphere go a long way. And luckily, Pasadena has all three.
Old Towne Pub
Location: 66 N. Fair Oaks Avenue
Built in 1973 on the site of former fire department horse stables from the late 1800s, this brick-walled pub channels classic, old-school charm. Old Towne Pub has live music every weekend, so maybe you’ll get lucky and find your new favorite band.
T. Boyles Tavern
Location: 37 N. Catalina Avenue
Located in Playhouse Village, T. Boyle’s Tavern is your St. Patrick’s Day spot for festive beer pours, Irish-inspired eats like corned beef, cabbage, and Reubens, live bands, and plenty of TVs to watch a game.
Lucky Baldwin's Pub
Location: 17 S. Raymond Avenue
Lucky Baldwin's British Pub & Cafe is housed in one of the oldest buildings in town, and features 68 unique beers on tap. Despite being a British pub, they typically have specials and Irish-inspired eats and drinks on weekend days leading up to St. Patrick’s Day. For specific event information, check out their Facebook page.
Do a Bar Crawl
Join a St. Patrick’s Day bar crawl in Pasadena and hop between local pubs with festive drink specials, live music, and plenty of green spirit wear.
