Pasadena Convention Center hosts 34th Great Minds in STEM Conference
America’s premiere STEM career and awards conference invites the public to attend the Career & Graduate School Fair this Saturday afternoon
Pasadena, California (October 6, 2022) – This week, thousands of diverse and brilliant minds are gathering in person at the Pasadena Convention Center for the 34th Annual Great Minds in STEM (GMiS) Conference, themed “Passion + Perseverance,” from October 5-8. The GMiS Career & Graduate School Fair this Saturday is free and open to the public, offering networking opportunities with recruiters from Fortune 100 companies, national labs, government agencies and top-rated national graduate school programs.

This year, Great Minds in STEM awarded over $230,000 in merit-based scholarships to the Class of 2022 GMiS STEM Scholars, inclusive of 106 outstanding recipients recognized for their excellence in academics, community service and leadership.
Since 1989, Great Minds in STEM has been supporting STEM career pathways for underrepresented and underserved communities in their pursuit of academic excellence while advancing diversity and inclusion. The organization focuses on STEM educational awareness from pre-college through college, and on recognizing and documenting the world-class contributions of Hispanic STEM professionals, who serve as role models for the next generation of American engineers and scientists.
College students and recent college graduates, particularly those from underserved and underrepresented groups, who are looking for full-time employment, internships, or research experiences, are strongly encouraged to attend the Career & Graduate School Fair this Saturday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, located at the Pasadena Convention Center (300 E Green Street).
