Halloween: 45 Years of Terror to arrive at the Pasadena Convention Center
The Halloween anniversary convention begins September 29 through October 1
Halloween: 45 Years of Terror (H45) descends onto the Pasadena Convention Center to celebrate the 45th anniversary of John Carpenter’s slasher film, Halloween (1978), from Friday, September 29 through Sunday, October 1. Presented by Trancas International Films, Convention All Stars LLC, HorrorHound Ltd., and Compass International Pictures, this special anniversary convention event offers a host of celebrity horror guests, vendors, panels, props, exclusive merchandise, and other surprising announcements.
“We are so thrilled to have the producers of the popular Halloween franchise select Pasadena for their anniversary convention event with HorrorHound,” said Michael Ross, CEO of the Pasadena Center Operating Company. “Halloween45 is going to be a fantastic celebration of the classic slasher flick that gets splashed across our TV screens each October. With the film locations right here in our backyard, we know it will be a spectacularly spooky start to our Halloween season."

The event kicks off with the Horror’s Hallowed Grounds Halloween Location Bus Tour, which will depart from Pasadena Convention Center on Friday, September 29 at 9:00 a.m. The tour includes filming locations for the Halloween franchise, as well as films like The Fog, Return of the Living Dead Part 2, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, and more.
Celebrity guests, including directors, stars, and crew, from all thirteen Halloween films are set to attend H45 in Pasadena. This year, attendees will get to experience the largest selection of vendors than any prior Terror convention has provided, including notable Halloween licensees with exclusive merch, such as a limited edition ‘Blood Splatter’ variant Michael Myers action figure, produced by Plastic Meatball and Fright Rags. Celebrate with two days of programming, galleries, panels, live entertainment, social media photo ops, cast Q&As, shopping, and professional photos. Tickets are $60 for weekend admission; $35 for Saturday admission; $30 for Sunday admission and can be purchased here. Children 12 and under will qualify for free admission. Tickets for the Horrors Hallowed Grounds Bus Tour are $150 and can be purchased here.
