Kidspace Campout

Kidspace Children’s Museum brings back its popular celebration of iconic American summer pastimes at Kidspace Campout. The summer-long celebration goes through Labor Day weekend. Pack up your tricycle and map your route to Kidspace Campout. Kids can navigate their own road trip on our trike track, through tunnels and even over the Golden Gate Bridge. Come explore all that Kidspace Campout has to offer. Along with Campout, the museum will open its newest permanent exhibit, Arroyo Pequeño, an extension of the Arroyo Adventure that delves into the delicate ecosystem of the Arroyo Seco. Guests are invited to play in cool pools of water and observe the signs of native wildlife that inhabit the local area.

• Road trip! Navigate your trike over the "Golden Gate Bridge" and through a tunnel on your way to adventure.
• Kirby’s Pit Stop. Take a detour at Kirby’s to charge up your “vehicle” or drive through the “carwash.”
• Creative Campgrounds. Whether you prefer a tent in the “woods” or a camper with a “lake” view, we’ll provide everything you need to create your fantasy campsite.
• Camp Craft Cabin. Makers are invited to get crafty—create your own camp nametags, try weaving with natural materials, and much more.
• Go fish. Put on your life vest, grab a net, and go “fishing” in Winding Willow Lake, our blue-sand play area with a real boat (and whimsical toy fish)
• Campfire Sing-Along. Gather ‘round our fanciful “campfire” for traditional and silly campfire songs and activities.
