Kidspace Children’s Museum brings back its popular celebration of iconic American summer pastimes at Kidspace Campout. Campout is all about the joy of family time, the thrill of new adventures, and the simple pleasures you can only find when the days are warm, and the pace is slow.
Whether you're cruising on a trike over the Golden Gate Bridge, singing around a whimsical campfire, or crafting your own camp flag, Kidspace is your basecamp for summer fun.
Highlights of Kidspace Campout include:
- Road trip adventures! Grab a trike and set out on a road trip — cruise over the Golden Gate Bridge, roll through tunnels, and make a pit stop at Kirby’s Corner to power up and get a “car wash.”
- Craft cabin. Create summer keepsakes with nostalgic crafts like custom camp flags, adventure journals, and more!
- Winding Willow Lake & Fish Market. Go "fishing" in the blue sand lake, then take your catch over to the Fish Market or grill it up in the campground.
- Campfire sing-along. Gather 'round the campfire throughout the day for songs, silliness, and community cheer.
- Things that go. In Roberts Pavilion, build, tinker, and test your ideas with summer-themed planes, trains, and automobiles.
- Family picnic time. Chill at one of our rest stops, complete with shady spots, coolers, grills, games, and exciting "roadside" attractions for your scrapbook.
