Floatfest: A Rose Parade Festival

Floatfest: A Rose Parade Festival presented by Go Bowling features a 1-mile showcase of Rose Parade floats following their appearance along the parade route, plus live entertainment, gourmet food trucks, the Rose Petal Bar, family friendly activities and more.

Each year, nearly 70,000 visitors head to Sierra Madre and Washington Boulevards in Pasadena for the chance to walk within a few feet of the floats and appreciate up close, the creativity and detail of each magnificent display. The walk has a moderate incline. Participating float exhibitors can engage with event attendees in this event’s celebratory environment.

January 1 | 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm (ticket sales end at 3:00 pm, last entry at 4:00 pm)

January 2 | 7:00 am - 9:00 am (exclusive viewing for seniors & people with mobility disabilities)

January 2 | 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (tickets sales end at 3:00 pm, last entry at 4:00 pm)

January 3 | 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (ticket sales end at 3:00 pm, last entry at 3:00 pm)

Tips:

• Expect 2.5 miles and spend at least two hours viewing the floats. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
• Skateboards, roller skates, bikes, tricycles, segways, and wagons are not permitted. Strollers may be tough to navigate due to the terrain.
• No pets allowed. Service animals are welcome.
• There will be many food vendors, but you can bring small amounts of food and non-alcoholic drinks. Coolers are not allowed.

Park-N-Ride Shuttle

Using the shuttle services is strongly encouraged. Park at the Pasadena City College or the PCC Extension Lot to catch the free shuttle to Floatfest. Find more information here.
