Old Pasadena celebrates the reverent yet vibrant Day of the Dead Mexican holiday with two days of special programming on Big Bang Theory Way at Union Street.
Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is celebrated in central and southern Mexico. This coincides with the Catholic holiday called All Souls’ Day and All Saints’ Day. These were combined along with the ancient beliefs of the indigenous people honoring their deceased loved ones.
