Tucked beside the iconic Rose Bowl Stadium in the Arroyo Seco, Brookside Golf Club features two 18-hole championship courses that have challenged legends and welcomed weekend players for generations. Expect narrow fairways, water hazards, and strategic bunkers—along with postcard views of the San Gabriel Mountains.

Set at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains, Eaton Canyon Golf Course is a 9-hole, par-35 course known for its well-groomed layout and sweeping natural scenery. Built in 1962, this neighborhood favorite stretches just under 3,000 yards and offers a more relaxed round in a truly picturesque setting.

Located in Central Park, the Pasadena Croquet Club offers free public lessons on Saturday mornings and plays host to the annual Kamal Cup, honoring U.S. Croquet Hall of Famer Mohammad Kamal. The club shares a historic space with the Lawn Bowling Club and offers a peaceful, social way to play in the heart of the city.
Established in 1921—before the Rose Bowl Stadium was even built—the Pasadena Lawn Bowling Club is as historic as it is charming. Housed in a Spanish Colonial clubhouse designed by Wallace Neff, the club offers free lessons every Saturday at 8:30 a.m. Just wear flat shoes and show up ready to roll.
