Pasadena Convention Center and Sodexo Live! provide 1,500 servings of soup for Union Station Homeless Services, local shelters and other service providers

Pasadena, CA (May 9, 2022) – The Pasadena Convention Center, along with exclusive food and beverage provider Sodexo Live!, prepared 1,500 servings of soup for local shelters and service providers. Led by Pasadena Convention Center’s Executive Chef Diego Feliciano, this Big Soup Servathon event is part of the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation and its ongoing mission to stamp out hunger and address food insecurity.

This is also a part of the Pasadena Convention Center and Sodexo Live!’s ongoing efforts to support the community. Previous initiatives include Union Station Homeless Services Thanksgiving Dinner in the Park, preparing and distributing 85,000 meals to those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic, and regularly donating surplus food.

“We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation on this initiative,” said Michael Ross, CEO of the Pasadena Center Operating Company. “It’s a wonderful way to be able to contribute to the local community.”

Soup will be provided to the following local organizations:

  • Jesus es el Camino
  • Impact Organization
  • Elizabeth House
  • Ronald McDonald House of Pasadena
  • Walter Hoving Home – Pasadena
  • Salvation Army – San Gabriel Valley
