CVB Sales Data & Administration Analyst – Full-time ($30 to $35 per hour)
We are seeking a motivated, detail oriented strategic thinker to support the efforts of the Pasadena Center Operating Company (PCOC) and the Pasadena Convention & Visitors Bureau (PCVB) as a prime leisure, and meetings and convention destination. The person in this position will collect, develop, maintain, analyze, and disseminate relevant data and market intelligence in order for the CVB to optimize the economic impact of visitors to Pasadena.
Sales Manager; Full-time ($70,000 to $90,000 per year)
We are seeking an energetic sales professional who will be responsible for identifying, developing and converting short-term business opportunities for the Pasadena Convention Center and Civic Auditorium. We are looking for candidates who are goal-oriented and enthusiastic about successfully contracting meetings, conventions, and events in Pasadena’s premier meetings, performance, and events facility.
Box Office Seller- Part-time ($16.11 to $21.00 per hour)
The box office sellers assist the Box Office Manager in the daily operation of box office events, and provide customer service assistance. They staff walk up windows. They provide information regarding the specific events, such as seating, prices, schedules, reservations. They provide general information regarding the facility and events. They sell cash and card tickets at the walk up window. They assist customers with resolving ticket processing/handling issues. They must have excellent interpersonal/communication skills, and they must be great problem solvers.
Event Services Crew Supervisor – Full-time ($20 to $25 per hour)
The Crew Supervisor leads and directs event services staff (custodial and setup personnel) in the completion of various custodial, housekeeping and event setup tasks/assignments in all meeting and exhibit spaces of the Convention Center and Civic Auditorium. The Crew Supervisor is responsible for the accuracy of room set-ups, facility cleanliness, and maintenance of department equipment. Provide customer service assistance to all clients and guests.
Event Services Attendant – Full-time ($16.11 per hour)
The members of this team provide custodial and housekeeping services to maintain and keep buildings in a clean and inviting condition. They read and interpret paperwork regarding room set-ups. They set up and breakdown a variety of equipment, including, but not limited to chairs, tables, staging, risers, trash cans, dance floors, podiums and other related equipment in meeting rooms and exhibit spaces. They push/pull loaded carts of tables, chairs, and other articles required to the event spaces. They service/clean restrooms, replenish supplies, and monitor/remove trash/waste. They sweep, mop, scrub, wax, vacuum and/or clean floors. They exhibit a high level of customer service and caring.Public Safety Officer; $20 to $25 per hour
The Public Safety Officer team is the one place, everyone at the Pasadena Center knows they can depend on to help with a variety of things – large or small. The team is on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They staff the Command Center to check in vendors, deliveries, and semi’s, to the loading dock. Also, they monitor radio calls for a wide variety of things: lock/unlock doors; lock/unlock bollards; on-site accidents; on-site hazards; on-site nuisances; other unforeseen odd jobs or emergencies. The team is responsible for monitoring and responding to fire alarms. They help direct traffic and crowd control for very busy events. All throughout the day and night they patrol the entire complex according to a map and schedule. By the end of each shift, each team member is responsible for preparing a daily activity log. They also prepare incident reports for accidents, emergencies and crimes. The ideal person for this position must have a welcoming, helpful, professional and positive attitude.
