Mount Wilson's Observatory's Talks & Telescopes Lecture Series

Enjoy an inspiring night on the mountain! Mount Wilson Observatory hosts compelling talks followed by picnicking and convivial stargazing through both of the two largest telescopes in the world.
Food will be available for purchase from a food truck or bring your own picnic!
Schedule
5:30pm: Talk begins in the Auditorium
Dusk to 11:30pm: View lectures and observe the stars through both the 60- and 100-inch telescopes. Additional stargazing around the grounds will be available from members of the Los Angeles Astronomical Society.

Good to Know:
- There is a 10-15 minute walk from the parking lot to the Auditorium. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
- Be prepared for the cooler temperature on the mountain.
- Arrive on time. The main gate closes at 6:30pm.
- Tables are available for al fresco dining.
