Pasadena Chalk Festival and Car Show

Over 600 skilled chalk artists from all over the world come together to celebrate the unique art form.

Free Two-Day Festival

The festival offers visitors an opportunity to experience art on the Paseo’s famous plaza for free. Music and entertainment are scheduled throughout the weekend. Children can create their art on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5:00 pm. The Pasadena Police will also showcase their Annual Pasadena Police Classic Car Show.

2022 Chalk Festival

The Chalk Festival will return June 18-19, 2022. The Annual Pasadena Chalk Festival at The Paseo features over 600 skilled chalk artists from all over the world that will come together to celebrate the unique art form. The festival offers visitors an opportunity to experience art on the Paseo’s famous plaza for free.

2021 Fall Chalk Festival

The 2021 Fall Chalk Festival will take place virtually Oct. 28-Nov. 1, event in honor of Día de los Muertos. Share your chalk murals on social media as early as Thursday, October 28 to be featured on the Pasadena Chalk Festival Facebook page and other social media sites.

2020 Virtual Chalk Festival

In 2020, Pasadena Chalk Festival was hosted virtually. Murals were created all around Los Angeles County, throughout the state of California, as well as in the states of Texas, Wisconsin, and New York – and also outside of the U.S. in Canada, Japan, and India.
