El Toreo (Spanish term for "bullfighting") has been around for about seventy years, the family that currently owns it has been running it for four decades. Locals endearingly describe it as a hole in the wall, it features a functioning jukebox that plays a well-curated selection of old Mexican music. They offer cerveza, which can also be used to order their impressive Michelada, great on warm summer days.

El Toreo offers happy hour Monday through Thursday from 3 PM to 6 PM. Domestic beers and tacos are $2.50.
