Hillside Campus

1700 Lida Street, Pasadena, CA 91103
Located on 165 wooded acres in the hills above the Rose Bowl, this modernist steel-and-glass landmark has been home to ArtCenter since 1976. Craig Ellwood designed the Hillside Campus to span across an arroyo and a road that runs underneath the facility, for that reason it is called the “Bridge Building.”  The Williamson Gallery is housed one this campus, featuring world-class exhibitions that connect the college’s curriculum to emerging and established artists. The Hillside Student Gallery is also housed here, it is a highly visible exhibition space that showcases a rotating selection of student projects, curated by department chairs at the end of each term.
