Support local small businesses in Pasadena by celebrating Shop Small Saturday on November 30th, and participating in special giveaways, discounts and activities around the city.

Shop Pasadena spotlights hundreds of independent businesses located in Pasadena and encourage the community to shop small, dine local and show some #locallove throughout the holidays. Every time shoppers and diners visit their corner shop, grab a bite at a local eatery, or buy a shirt from the neighborhood boutique, they are helping to support Pasadena’s independent business owners. Not to mention, shopping local keeps dollars in our local economy to support our schools, parks and vital community services.

As part of the “Shop Pasadena” campaign, independent businesses in each of the city’s commercial areas will serve as welcome stations for the campaign and distribute “Shop Pasadena” canvas tote bags (first-come, first-serve). Welcome stations across the city include:

Playhouse District

The Playhouse District and its Ambassador Guides will be celebrating small businesses all month long by awarding those who shop small with Amex Gift Card prizes ranging from $25 – $75 at select busineses every weekend in November. South Lake Avenue District

The South Lake Avenue District is home to a half-mile long shoppers lane as well as dozens of eateries to satisfy any hungry shopper. The 10 tree-lined blocks are home to a diverse collection of national stores, unique boutiques, delicious restaurants, salons, and other services reflecting the historic ambiance of the area’s 1940s origins.
