AEG to Debut New Music and Arts Festival in Pasadena

Pasadena, California—Anschultz Entertainment Group (AEG) will host a three-day music and arts festival in Pasadena, California’s Rose Bowl Stadium complex, including parts of the Brookside Golf Course which surrounds the stadium. The inaugural festival will take place on Saturday, June 24th and Sunday, June 25th, 2017 and it is expected to draw 75,000 festival-goers. AEG will focus on acts in the rock, indie, and pop genres which will perform on three main stages; additional programming includes a theatre performance stage; art displays; carnival rides; concession stands and cultural programming.

Culinary Experience

While festival-goers can expect some main staple food and beverage offerings commonly available in music festivals, Arroyo Seco Weekend will highlight craft beer, an exciting wine list, and craft cocktails by master mixologists. Additionally, many vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free offerings will be available. And for an extra special experience, a four-course dinner will be served twice per day with wine pairings and custom cocktails in a unique setting. Details→

Two full days of music and approximately 30 acts will perform at the festival, including Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, Mumford & Sons, Weezer, and The Mowgli’s to name a few.

Festival Encourages Mass Transit

Arroyo Seco Weekend is making it easier for festivalgoers to arrive by mass transit, this strategy may be the impetus for many first time riders. Festivalgoers can take the Gold Line to Memorial Park Station in Pasadena, where folks can walk to shuttles going to the Rose Bowl Stadium. A free bike valet service will available at the stadium, and bikes are also allowed on Gold Line trains. Additionally, ride-share services will be accommodated in designated areas. Details→
