The Richard Clayderman Piano Concert at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium will be a chance for you to hear why Nancy Reagan once dubbed him as the “Prince of Romance.” His piano style combines classical and pop music and has sold millions of records. He travels to several continents to play and share his music. He connects with his audience on many levels, specially on an emotional one. Clayderman creates a romantic ambiance at his concerts and mixes tempos, rhythms, and styles to spark all kinds of emotion.
Richard Clayderman was born and raised in Paris, France. At age five, he started practicing the piano and has since gone on to record over 1,300 melodies. To this day, many young musicians have been inspired by Clayderman. He has 267 gold and 70 platinum albums and is in the Guinness Book of World Records as “the most successful pianist in the word.”
Tickets for the Richard Clayderman Piano Concert can be purchased through Ticketmaster, prices range from $60 – $180. Tickets can also be purchased at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium Box Office on Fridays from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. On the day of the event, the box office will open three hours prior to the concert.
The concert runs 2 hours with one 15 minute intermission and is suitable for all ages.
Pasadena Civic Auditorium

Parking costs $13 per day for up to 16 hours, or $18 per day for in-and-out privileges. The subterranean parking structure is shared with the Sheraton Pasadena. The entrance is located on Euclid Avenue between Green Street and Cordova Street. Metro Gold Line
Pasadena sits in the heart of the Metro Gold Line, a light rail train system that runs from East Los Angeles to Azusa. There are two train station within walking distance to the Pasadena Civic Auditorium:
1. Del Mar Station is three blocks away and it takes approximately ten minutes to walk to the Civic.
2. Memorial Park Station is four blocks away and it takes approximately eight minutes to walk to the Civic.
