30th Annual Pasadena Chalk Festival - UPDATED

Free Two-Day Festival

The 2023 Chalk Festival returns Father's Day Weekend. This year's festival will be located at the Plaza at the Pasadena Convention Center in the historic civic center district. The celebration features over 500 skilled chalk artists from all over the world that will come together to complete murals on the Plaza ground over the course of the two-day weekend. Once all murals are completed on Sunday evening, artists will go around voting for each award category.

The free, family-friendly event is the perfect Father's Day weekend in Pasadena. A Silent Auction will feature works donated from each participating artist on a 1' x 1' canvas. Proceeds will fund art education programs for schools in Pasadena and Los Angeles.
