    Old Pasadena embraces the season with events for people of all ages and even your pets to enjoy. From photos with Santa to Old Pasadena walking tours. Old Pasadena’s charming and historic building will be illuminated with holiday lights and decorations for you to enjoy the holiday season.

    Kick Off The Holiday

    On Saturday, December 2 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Mercantile Place enjoy free face painting, photo ops with elves, and balloon creations. Make a wreath to take home at the holiday wreath workshop with “A Stem in Time.” Fresh greens, florals, and berries will be available to use for your wreath. The workshop costs $25, cash and credit card accepted plus get $2 off with cash payment.

    Santa Throughout the Season

    One Colorado is providing all-access to Santa this season. You can take a photo with him or you can also leave a letter in his mailbox located in the courtyard. All letters will get a reply, so don’t forget to include a return address. Letters must be delivered by 6:00 pm on December 17, 2017 for a response.

    Saturdays from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm
    Sundays from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm

    Live Music

    Enjoy a night of live music from the prohibition-era jazz band, Leftover Cuties on Saturday, December 2 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Libations and sweet treats will be available to warm you up.

    To keep with the holiday spirit, spread warm wishes for all our fellow man by bringing donations for the Good Cheer Gifting Drive For Union Station Homeless Services.

    Random Acts of Music with Pasadena Symphony and Pops

    On Sunday, December 10 at 2:00 pm and Sunday, December 14 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, a string quartet brass trio or other ensemble will be performing Holiday inspired music in and around One Colorado.

    Fallen Fruit Public Tree Adoption

    Adopt a citrus tree to be planted in a public space on Sunday, December 10, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Presented by artist collaborative, Fallen Fruit. The trees will help create and foster new kinds of community based on generosity and sharing. First come first serve, one per person.

    Bob Baker Marionette Holiday Show

    Enjoy a heart-warming holiday show with the bob Baker Marionette’s on Thursday, December 10 at 4:30 pm. A fun show for the entire family.

    Castle Green Holiday Tour

    Take a self-guided tour of The Castle Green; including 25+ private condominiums, the penthouse and iconic bridge that will be dressed in holiday decorations. See the castle’s splendor decked out in Victorian holiday decorations. Click here for ticket information.

    Public Transportation and Parking

    The Metro Gold Line is a light rail train system that runs from Downtown Los Angeles to Pasadena. The Del Mar Station and the Memorial Park Station are closest to Old Pasadena. Cost is $1.75 per person each way, students k-12 pay $1 each way.

    There are more than 7,500 parking spaces throughout Old Pasadena, including public and private garages, and street parking. Generally, you’ll find free parking with validation for 90 minutes, and paid parking is most often $6 for the day. Full list of parking facilities in Old Pasadena
