  • Halloween in Old Pasadena

    The whole family will will have a frightfully good time at the Old Pasadena Halloween Celebration. Enjoy festivities such as a the annual Pumpkin Decorating Extravaganza and a movie screening.  Fun Halloween festivities will be provided for little ones to enjoy. There will also be a doggy costume parade and  trick-or-treating along Colorado Boulevard and in the One Colorado Courtyard.

    Get busy with glue sticks and washable markers and create your own Great Pumpkin. Pumpkins are provided on a first-come, first-served basis; all creations go home with their creators.

    Growl-o-ween at The Dog Bakery

    Old Pasadena Halloween Trick or Treating

    On Halloween, more than 100 stores and restaurants in Old Pasadena open their doors to all costumed visitors for free, store-to-store trick or treating. Old Pasadena Ambassador Guides hand out fun little Halloween eggs filled with surprises. Kids will have the opportunity to meet and greet various popular costumed characters along Colorado Blvd. – get your cameras ready, parents! Take your dressed-up family to the One Colorado Courtyard for free professional photos against a Halloween-themed background and hundreds of pumpkins.

    Jack Skellington, Halloweentown’s beloved pumpkin king, has become bored with the same annual routine of frightening people in the “real world,” so when he accidentally stumbles on Christmastown, he plots to bring Christmas under his control by kidnapping Santa Claus and taking over the role.

    Metro Gold Line

    The Metro Gold Line is a light rail train that runs between East Los Angeles, Downtown Los Angeles, Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley. There are two train stations within walking distance to Old Pasadena, (1) Del Mar Station is few blocks away, it is about a ten minute walk. (2) Memorial Park Station is four blocks away, it takes eight minutes to walk and there are no hills on this route. Cost is $1.75 per person each way, students k-12 pay $1 each way. More…
