  • Halloween in Old Pasadena

    The whole family will will have a frightfully good time at the Old Pasadena Halloween Celebration. Enjoy festivities such as a the annual Pumpkin Decorating Extravaganza and a movie screening.  Fun Halloween festivities will be provided for little ones to enjoy. There will also be a doggy costume parade and  trick-or-treating along Colorado Boulevard and in the One Colorado Courtyard.

    Growl-o-ween at The Dog Bakery

    On Sunday, October 21 from 9:30 am – 11:00 am, bring your doggie to The Dog Bakery for a costume contest.  Have your pooch dressed to impress for the doggy Growl-O-Ween parade. Located at 36 W. Colorado Blvd. Suite 3 (on Mill Place).

    One Colorado’s Annual Pumpkin Decorating

    On Saturday, October 28 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, get busy with glue sticks and washable markers creating your own great pumpkin during the Pumpkin Decorating at One Colorado. Pumpkins are provided on a first-come, first-served basis; all creations go home with their creators. Located at 41 Hugus Alley.


    On Wednesday, October 31st from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, meet and greet with costumed characters as you trick-or-treat along Colorado Blvd. at more than 100 participating businesses. Be sure to look for the Old Pasadena Ambassador Guides who will be handing out Halloween eggs filled with surprises. Head on over to One Colorado and take a picture in front of a Halloween themed background along with dozens of pumpkins.


    Beginning at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 31, enjoy the movie Coraline. The movie is about young adventurous 11 year-old girl who finds another world that is a idealized version of her frustrating home.

    Metro Gold Line

    The Metro Gold Line is a light rail train that runs between East Los Angeles, Downtown Los Angeles, Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley. There are two train stations within walking distance to Old Pasadena, (1) Del Mar Station is few blocks away, it is about a ten minute walk. (2) Memorial Park Station is four blocks away, it takes eight minutes to walk and there are no hills on this route. Cost is $1.75 per person each way, students k-12 pay $1 each way. More…
