The largest art pottery and tile show in America, will take place at the Pasadena Convention Center. Collectors of art pottery, dinnerware and tile will delight in various exhibitors from throughout the country. Ceramics from yesterday, today and tomorrow will be for sale.

What You Can Find at the Show

Revival Arts Studio’s Stephani Stephenson, a trained sculptor and passionate student of history and master of ceramic arts, will be one of the exhibitors at the show. She has been working with clay since 1980 and embarked in a clay residency in Spain. She then delved in the history, materials and techniques of early 20th Century tile and architectural ceramics.

Foxlo Pottery (Fox and Lois) have been working on ceramics since 1972. They discovered their mutual love of clay in the ceramics department at San Jose State University. They opened their first studio in Fresno, CA and produced a line of ceramics that were exhibited in galleries and gift shops throughout the United States.

Influenced by the American Arts and Crafts Movement, Taira Wiggings from Sweet Earth Pottery creates pieces with white stoneware body. She enjoys the cuerda seca method of glazing, prominent in Spanish tile work. The colors and landscape of the golden West are her inspirations.

Annies Garden Ceramics from Big Bear California will have unique wall pockets. Annie Aldrich uses soft matte glazes, cool colors and imprints from leaves and plants creating a fun, yet earthy and elegant look.  You can see influences of arts and crafts in her work.

These are just some examples of what you will find at the Los Angeles Pottery show.
