    About

Formed in 2004, the Public Works Women’s Leadership Council was created to provide mentorship and support to address women’s issues. It constitutes employees who participate in groups and committees that develop projects to encourage and empower all employees in all job classifications through a supportive environment for professional growth and leadership development.

The council sponsors events providing leadership opportunities through the organization of lunchtime speakers series, mentoring programs, team building, and outreach events. While organizing these events, members learn leadership skills and employees learn skills by attending.
