    Legendary singer Johnny Mathis, celebrating his 62nd year as a recording artist, comes to Pasadena for the first time to perform his greatest hits & personal favorites at Pasadena Civic Auditorium on May 16, 2019. Come hear why Johnny will always be the “Voice of Romance!”

    Best known for his supremely popular hits like “Chances Are,” “Too Much, Too Little, Too Late,” and “Misty,” Mathis has recorded close to 80 albums, 6 Christmas albums, and has recently released his newest album entitled “Johnny Mathis Sings The Great New American Songbook.”  During his extensive career he has had 3 songs inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, achieved 50 Hits on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary Chart, and ranks as the all-time #6 album artist in the history of Billboard’s pop album charts.  He has received 5 Grammy Nominations, and in 2003 he was given the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.

    On May 16, 2019 Mathis comes to Pasadena Civic Auditorium to perform some of his greatest hits and personal favorites.

    Pasadena Civic Auditorium

    The Pasadena Civic Auditorium is located at 300 E. Green Street, Pasadena, California 91101, it is the centerpiece of the Pasadena Convention Center campus. The 3,000-seat venue is on the National Register of Historic Places and was designed in Mediterranean Revival architecture. More→

    Driving Directions

    The Pasadena Civic Auditorium is located in downtown Pasadena, off of the 210 freeway as well as the 110 freeway. Directions→

    Parking

    Parking costs $15 per day for up to 16 hours, or $21 per day for in-and-out privileges. The subterranean parking structure is shared with the Sheraton Pasadena. The entrance is located on Euclid Avenue between Green Street and Cordova Street. Additionally, parking is available in several private structures around the convention center, these are operated by Paseo Colorado. More→

    Metro Gold Line

    Pasadena sits in the heart of the Metro Gold Line, a light rail train system that runs from East Los Angeles to Azusa. There are two train stations within walking distance to the Pasadena Civic Auditorium:

    1. Del Mar Station is three blocks away and it takes approximately ten minutes to walk to the Civic.

    2. Memorial Park Station is four blocks away and it takes approximately eight minutes to walk to the Civic.
