  • Makeup Artist Trade Show

IMATS Los Angeles is the International Makeup Artist Trade Show where thousands of make-up artists and exhibitors gather taking place at the Pasadena Convention Center. Learn from Rod Maxwell, Ashley Fierro, Richard Martin, Eve Pearl, Roque Cozzette, Shylie Parsons, and others from fashion and film. There will be a make-up museum and student make-up competitions in the Battle of the Brushes where they create amazing looks.

    Makeup Artist Magazine

Michael Key, publisher at Make-Up Artist magazine, started the first IMATS in 1997 in Los Angeles. Artists were able to customize what would be interesting to them and it also showcased a variety of products, education, and demonstrations from top industry leaders. Now IMATS continues to connect make-up artists from around the world and is held six times a year. It is held in Los Angeles, New York, London, Vancouver BC, Sidney, and Toronto.
