Celebrate Earth Day at One Colorado with hands‑on activities, sustainable workshops, local pop-ups, and live music. Join us as we honor our planet with an afternoon dedicated to creativity, community, and eco-friendly fun.
Guests can take part in the Twigzz Pollinator Plant Workshop, learn about supporting local ecosystems, and create their own take‑home plant. Kids can enjoy a Falling Leaves Art Craft inspired by nature, creating butterfly and bug artwork from fallen leaves. Complimentary lemonade and Salt & Straw ice cream will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Did you know One Colorado has its own beehive? Meet our beekeepers and learn more about our working bees, how they support our environment, and the important role they play in our community’s ecosystem.
Don’t miss the Exclusive Honey Giveaway, featuring honey harvested from One Colorado’s own bees, available while supplies last. Guests can also explore pop-up shops from Patagonia and its partners—including Garden of Hope, part of City of Hope in Duarte— as well as Rothy’s and pop-up ElleRali.
Sephora will pop up at the event to collect hard-to-recycle beauty empties through its partnership with the Pact Collective, making it easy for guests to responsibly recycle beauty and wellness packaging. Clean, empty containers can be dropped off to help reduce waste and support a more sustainable beauty cycle.
Guests can also take part in Jerseys to Totes, a high-energy DIY activation by Second Life Studio that transforms old jerseys into custom tote bags—just in time to welcome the World Cup to LA this summer. In partnership with The Salvation Army, this fun, no-sew experience is open to all skill levels and invites participants to cut, knot, and recreate one-of-a-kind totes while celebrating the global spirit of sport, creativity, and sustainability.
All activations are available while supplies last.
This spring, One Colorado presents a seasonal art installation designed by local artist Jen Johnson of Dutch + Finn Design, transforming Douglas Alley into a light-filled celebration of nature.
Inspired by stained glass, suncatchers, and organic shapes found in nature, the installation features large-scale, abstract interpretations of butterfly and bee pollinators cascading overhead. The suspended forms create a whimsical, photo-worthy moment as light, color, and movement fill the alleyway.
The installation will be on view from the end of April through the end of May. Be sure to stop by Douglas Alley, snap a photo, and tag @OneColoradoOldPasadena.
