FAQ

To ensure the best experience for all event and performance attendees, please abide by the following rules and carefully read through the frequently asked questions.

What is your bag policy?

Small bags recommended. Unfortunately, we do not have storage space for a large number of checked items so it’s best to leave large bags and backpacks at home or in your vehicle.

Can I bring my camera?

No cameras are allowed in the theater. Cell phone cameras are permitted. However, the photo policy varies from event to event and any photography that becomes disruptive to other guests is prohibited. Note: No selfie sticks are allowed in the auditorium.

I am an off-duty police officer, can I carry my firearm?

Uniformed Pasadena Police Officers are the only persons allowed to carry firearms on the premises. We do not have accommodations for firearm storage.

Can I bring my support animal to the auditorium?

Service animals are permitted in the auditorium. The ADA defines a service animal as any guide dog or signal dog, individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability. This includes psychiatric service dogs that are individually trained to provide service to individuals with psychiatric or neurological disabilities, such as preventing or interrupting impulsive or destructive behaviors or warning of an oncoming seizure. It does not include emotional support or comfort animals. Service animals must be harnessed, leashed or tethered at all times and will be required to rest in the seating area of the individual with a disability. A guest whose service animal poses a threat to the safety of other guests and employees may be asked to escort the animal off the premises.

Can I bring a sign into the auditorium?

The sign policy varies from event to event. Signs are generally not permitted; however, exceptions are made for concerts where signs are part of the audience experience and graduations. Signs can not be larger that 11”x17”, they cannot be lighted, and they must not contain any profanity. If holding up a sign becomes disruptive to other guests, the sign will be confiscated.

Can I bring my own food and drink to the show?

Outside food and beverages will not be allowed into the auditorium. Most events, excluding graduations and TV shows, have concession services in the lobby. Medical and/or dietary restrictions, please see the Guest Services desk for an exception.

What should I do if the people around me are being disruptive and ruining my experience?

Please find the nearest Guest Services Representative, they are usually located at the top of the aisle or just outside the aisle door. If the issue is not addressed promptly, please ask for the Guest Services Manager.

Does my child need a ticket?

Yes, everyone entering the auditorium, including toddlers that can lap sit, need a ticket. Please carefully consider whether a performance is appropriate for your child before planning to attend. Also, please be aware that disruptive patrons, including children, will not be allowed to remain in the auditorium. Be considerate of others in the audience and of your child’s comfort.

Do you have booster seats available?

Yes, there are a limited number of booster seats that can be checked out at the Guest Services desk on a first come first served basis.

Does the auditorium have a dress code?

For the comfort of others, please avoid clothing that contains profanity. For the safety of all attendees, avoid clothing, jewelry, and accessories that include chains or spikes. Shirts and shoes are required at all times.

If I forget something, can I leave and come back inside?

Most events allow for re-entry, however, its very important that you see a Guest Services representative and scan your ticket out before leaving, failure to scan your ticket out could result in you not being re-admitted to the auditorium.

What wheelchair accommodations do you have?

There is a designated wheelchair and companion seating area. Please request ADA designated seating at the time of ticket purchase. There is no accessible seating the loge or balcony. If you are in a wheelchair, but can transfer to a auditorium seat, the Guest Services staff will check-in and store your wheelchair, and will bring it back to you when needed. What other items does the auditorium prohibit?

The following items are not allowed in the auditorium:

  • Balloons and beach balls
  • Airhorns or noisemakers
  • Laser pointers
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Re-usable bottles, cans, or glass bottles
  • Aerosol cans including silly string
  • Selfie sticks
  • Cameras
