PASADENA, CA – A Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game ticket contest and the 2012 Tournament of Roses Queen and Royal Court will help kick off the Pasadena Convention & Visitors Bureau's 28th Annual Visitor Hotline on December 30, 2011.

Rose Queen Drew Washington and the Royal Court will make a special appearance at the Bureau, which is located inside the Pasadena Convention Center, from 9 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. Following a ribbon-cutting ceremony, they will enter the Hotline Room where they will give a set of Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game tickets to the winning callers. All media are welcome.

To be eligible to win the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game tickets, simply follow the Visitor Hotline on Twitter at @visitorhotline. On December 30, tweets will be sent alerting followers when to call the toll-free Visitor Hotline for a chance to win either Rose Parade or Rose Bowl Game tickets.

To assist visitors coming to the 123rd Rose Parade and the 98th Rose Bowl Game on January 2, 2012, the Pasadena Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) offers information via a toll-free Visitor Hotline (877-793-9911). Operating December 30 – January 3, Visitor Hotline is staffed by volunteers from throughout the community. These volunteers are available to answer questions about the Rose Parade, Rose Bowl Game, pre- and post-parade and game activities, parking, accommodations, dining, directions, other holiday-related events, and more.
