    Horror aficionados and the creative professionals who bring these scary creatures to life will return to the Pasadena Convention Center in April for Monsterpalooza. The show is for fans as well as industry professionals — two hundred exhibitors will present live makeup demonstrations, celebrity meet and greets, and a Monster Museum exhibition.

    Monster Museum

    Visit the Monster Museum to view props from motion pictures and television shows, as well as installations by award winning artists.

    Monsterpalooza Theatre

    Attend unique presentations at the Monsterpalooza Theatre featuring actors and directors of the horror film genre, as well as screenwriters and special effects artists. Past presentations include An American Warewold in London, The Howling, Predator, Tremors, The Exorcist, and Return of the Living Dead. While we cant give away the lineup for this year just yet, check back in the beginning of the year for more details.

    Tickets

    If you purchase tickets online, they cost $30 per day or you can purchase a 3-day pass for $70. Tickets at the door cost $35. Children under 10 enter free. Details→

    Pasadena Convention Center

    The Pasadena Convention Center is located at 300 E Green Street, Pasadena, California 91101. Several buildings makeup the campus-style convention center, Monsterpalooza will take place inside the Exhibit Hall & Ballrooms building. Map→

    Parking

    Parking at the convention center is $12 per day for up to 16 hours or $18 per day for in and out privileges. The subterranean parking structure is shared with the Sheraton Pasadena. The entrance is located on Euclid Avenue between Green Street and Cordova Street. Additionally, parking is available in several private structures around the convention center, these are operated by Paseo Colorado. More→

    Driving Directions

    The Pasadena Convention Center is located in downtown Pasadena, off of the 210 freeway as well as the 110 freeway. Google Maps→

    Metro Gold Line

    The Pasadena Convention Center is serviced by the Metro Gold Line, a light rail train that runs from East Los Angeles to the San Gabriel Valley. There are two train station within walking distance, Del Mar Station and Memorial Park StationDetails→

    Monsterpalooza’s official host hotel is the Westin Pasadena, the hotel is within walking distance to the convention center, three and a half blocks away.
