Pasadena’s Historic Downtown

Pasadena’s original downtown is known in the present day as Old Pasadena, it was founded in the late-1800s during the latter-half of the Victorian era. This historic district is most recognizable for its low-rise brick buildings, and a network of attractive alleyways that served as liveries before people ditched their horses for cars. Pasadena Heritage conducts a walking tour of Old Pasadena, offering historical and architectural insights. Tours are offered on the first Saturday of each month throughout the year, excluding July and October. On the tour visitors will also learn about the role Pasadena Heritage plays in the preservation of Old Pasadena. Tickets→
